Adelina C. Martinez

On Saturday December 28, 2013 Adelina Cantu Martinez, Mother, Grandmother of Three generations, and sister was called by The Lord at the age of 86 years. Adelina was a spiritual and devoted women of god who lived and walked by faith. She was a dedicated servant to god and the catholic community. Her spirit is carried by her daughters Lucia Gonazles, Adelita Salinas, Luisa Hernandez, Adelida Briceno, and Lupe Estrada. Sons Geronimo Martinez, Jude Angel Martinez, and Trinidad Martinez, Twenty-Five Grand Children, Twenty-One Great Grand Children, and Four Great Great Grandchildren, and One Sister.

She is preceded in death by her husband Luis R. Martinez, Son Lazaro Ramon Martinez, and her parents Manuel and Isabel Cantu.

Rosary was held Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Thursday January 2, 2014 from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral was held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Friday January 3, 2014 at 10am. Interment followed at the Frio County Cemetery.
