Aida L. Garcia

Aida L. Garcia, 69, went peacefully to be with the Lord and her mother and father on December 1, 2015 at her residence in McAllen, Texas.

Ms. Garcia was born in Cotulla, Texas and raised in Illinois. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elvira L. Garcia, from Cotulla, Texas, and her father, Pablo Garcia, Jr., from Millett, Texas. Ms. Garcia is survived by her sister, Yolanda G. Palacios, and brother-in-law, Margarito Palacios from San Juan, Texas. Three Nephews: Jaime, Edieberto (Cheryl), and Jose Javier Palacios. Two great nieces and one great nephew: Ellisa Louise, Alexandria Rose, and Lucas Sebastian Palacios.

She led a simple life and enjoyed country music, television, joking and laughing with family and friends.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in McAllen, Texas for their years of caring and support.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels- Dilley, from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 4, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Millett Cemetery.
