Alejandro G. Lozano, aged 79, of Dilley, entered rest on Monday, August 4, 2025. He was born on April 17, 1946, to Felipe Lozano Jr and Agapita Guajardo Lozano. He is survived by his beloved wife, Guadalupe Del Real Lozano, and his children Morelsa Perez and her husband Danny, Steve Lozano, and Jimmy Lozano with his wife April, Lupe Ramirez and husband Rafael and daughter Alamar Garza and husband Joe .Alejandro was a cherished brother to Ester Elizondo, Maria Banda, and Elena Valdez. He was a proud grandfather to Minnie Perez, Onesimo Perez, James Martinez, Mistica Perez, Esai Lozano, Ashton Flynn, Andre Lozano, and Ava Lozano. He also leaves behind 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson Ronnie Perez, his great-grandson Samuel Ramon, and his brothers Gilbert and Rene Lozano.
Alejandro served honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he earned the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars and was recognized as a Sharpshooter (Rifle). He dedicated 39 years of his career to Ingram Ready Mix.
The family will be having a visitation on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel-Dilley from 8:30AM-10:15. A rosary will be recited at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10:30AM with mass to follow right after. Interment will follow to the Dilley Cemetery with military honors.
