Alfredo C. Gauna, 85 of Dilley, entered rest on June 21, 2017 in Cotulla. He was born on May 3, 1932 in Dilley. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gabriella Gauna; sons, Freddy Gauna, Ruben Gauna and Alfredo Gauna Jr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Gauna and numeorus siblings.

He is survived by his children; Armando R. Gauna and wife Rosemarie of Dilley, Juanita Martinez and husband Jose of Dilley, Maria Nelda Obregon and husband Silvano of Dilley, Maria R. Gauna of Dilley and Guadalupe Trevino of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels-Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1 pm. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.

Pallbearers include; Sergio A Gauna, Ruben J. Gauna, Joseph Martinez, Alfredo A. Gauna, Armando J. Gauna, Jose A. Martinez, Jose M. Gauna and Eliseo Obregon.
