Alvaro Mata Sr.

Alvaro Mata Sr. 46, of Dilley, passed away on January 7th, 2010. He was born on May 15th, 1965 to Ignacio Mata and Felicitas Tapia. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Ignacio Mata Jr. and Jose Martin Mata.
He is survived by Mirta Martinez, children; Mayra Hernandez, Alvaro Mata Jr., Maria Mata, Bentura Mata and Jose Angel Benavidez. Brothers and sisters: Patricia Mata, Javier Mata, Sergio Mata, Ruben Benavidez, Sandra Tovar and Yolanda Quintero. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
Rosary was held on Tuesday January 10th, 2012 at the Trevino Royal Oaks Dilley Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday January 11th, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
