Amelia Cantu Ruiz

Amelia Ruiz, 93 of Pearsall entered rest on October 17, 2023, in Pearsall, TX. She was born on July 3, 1930, in Cotulla, Tx to Espiridion Cantu and Eduarda Coronado Cantu. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Manuel G. Ruiz and sister Maria C. Trevino.

She is survived by her daughter, Susana Ruiz Belding (Mike); grandsons, Eric Terrazas (Erin) and John M. Belding; siblings, Raul Cantu, Benito Cantu (Maria), Ricardo Cantu (Yolanda Trevino), Francisco Cantu (Mary) and Marcela Rodriguez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 5pm-9pm. A rosary will be recited on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 9am with mass to follow at 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
