Antonio C. Cuevas

Antonio C. Cuevas, aged 85, of Pearsall, Texas, entered rest on August 11, 2025, in San Antonio. Born on May 10, 1940, in Charlotte, Texas, to Gabriel Cuevas and Angelina Calderon Cuevas, Antonio was a beloved member of his community and family.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Donata Trevino Cuevas, and children Elida Robles, Edna Segundo, Rosalinda Uvalle, and Samuel Segundo. He is also predeceased by grandchildren Tomas Segundo and Priscilla Hurt, along with numerous brothers and sisters.

Antonio is survived by his children, Yvette Cuevas Medrano (Jose), Sonia C. Martinez (Pete) and Lupe Segundo Rendon. He leaves behind siblings Chuy Cuevas, Maria Rodriguez, and Fey Carrizales. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Jennifer, Lisa, Gina, Jose, Ayanna, Daniella, Sammy Jr., Dina, Ben, Clarisa, Tomas, Joshua, Melissa, and Priscilla, as well as 30 great-grandchildren 17 great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Antonio dedicated over 30 years of his life working for the City of Pearsall as a heavy machinery operator. He cherished spending time with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

A memorial rosary will be held for Antonio on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 9am. A mass will be celebrated following the rosary at 10am. Interment will follow to the Chilipitin Cemetery.
