Arturo Chavera

Arturo Chavera, 64 of Pearsall, entered rest on March 20, 2018 in San Antonio. He was born on March 24, 1953 in Dilley, Tx. He is preceded in death by his son, Artemio Chavera and his mother, Lupe Chavera.

He is survived by his wife, Elda P. Chavera of Pearsall; children, Jaime Chavera and wife Lori of Long Beach, Judy Chavera and Jesse Ramirez of Pearsall and Arturo Chavera Jr. and wife Crystal of Pearsall; sister, Petra Valenzuela of Pearsall; granddaughters, Krissy Garza, Kaylee Garza and Samantha Chavera. He is also survived by his great granddaughter, Ashlee Jananto and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
