Arturo C. Martinez

Arturo C. Martinez, 69 of Pearsall, entered rest on May 28, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 25, 1950 in Pearsall to Arturo L. Martinez and Celerina Cantu Martinez. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sophia C. Martinez.

He is survived by his wife Margot Chavez; children, Cynthia Montemayor and husband Mike, Arturo T. Martinez and wife Dora Del Toro, Jo Carol T. Martinez and husband Ernest Bartley, Melissa Morales (Sam) and Richard Chavez (Michelle); brothers and sisters, Lino Martinez (Virginia), Vicente Martinez (Delia), Abel Martinez (Annie), Albert Martinez, Irene Guevara (Hector), Gavina Ventura (Benito), Elmira Martinez (Boy), Gloria Bueno (John), Rita Martinez and Becky Tritten (Gary); grandchildren, Mikey, Daniel, Chris, Sarah, Isabella, Dylan, Arturo, Michael, Matthew, Keith, Amanda, Juan, Mando, Richard, Blanca, Tomica and Marcus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include, Arturo Martinez, Abel Martinez, Michael Montemayor, Daniel Montemayor, Christopher Bartley, Boy Martinez, Ben Ventura and Eric Ventura. Honorary Pallbearers include, Lino Martinez, Vicente Martinez and Albert Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 12pm. Interment will follow at the Pearsall Cemetery.
