Candelaria P. Gandara

Candelaria P. Gandara, born on February 1, 1950, to Esequiel Palacios and Maria Cavasos Palacios, passed away on October 28, 2024. She is survived by her children, Reymundo Benavidez, Christina Viesca (Alex Enriquez), Tony Benavidez (Katheryn), Ernestina (Tina) Benavidez (Thomas), and Tommy Gandara. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Hector Jr.(Diamond), Tony Jr., Kassandra Rae, Kristopher Ruben, Tiffani Jenise, Joe Louis, Jolynn Marie, Faith (Alley) Alexandria, Katrina, Doniven, Malayna , and Xavien, as well as her 11 great-grandchildren. Candelaria is also survived by her brothers, Anselmo Palacios and Felix Palacios.

She was predeceased by her husband, Manuel Gandara, her first husband, Reymundo Benavides, Paul Morales companion her parents, sister, Paula Guajardo and son in law, Hector Viesca Sr.. Candelaria's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow to the Catholic Cemetery West Side.
