Carmel R. Guajardo

Carmel R. Guajardo, 77 of Pearsall, entered rest on March 13, 2023. He was born on March 19, 1945 in Pearsall, Texas to Enrique Guajardo and Selvera Rendon. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Carmel "Pio" Guajardo Jr.; siblings, Lorenzo Guajardo Sr., Roberto Guajardo Sr., Petra Hinojosa, Candelaria Elizondo, Vicenta G. Bernal and Maria G. Hernandez.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Guajardo and son, Jesse Guajardo; brothers, Jose R. Guajardo and Tanis Guajardo; grandchildren, Tanya Guajardo, Joby Chavera (Jose Juan), Jesse Guajardo Jr., Joseph Guajardo, Jessica Guajardo and Josephine Guajardo; great grandchildren, Jose Juan Chavera III, Sabian Chavera and Itzyella Chavera. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Services will conclude after mass.
