Cecilia C. Chapa

Cecilia C. Chapa, 85, of Pearsall, entered into her eternal rest on February 10, 2022. She was born on March 9, 1936, in Laredo, Texas and is preceded in passing by her parents, Pascual and Blasa Carrillo, her husband of 50 years, Elias Chapa, her younger brother Pascual “Junior” (Guadalupe), and baby brother, Oscar.

Known and loved by many as “Titi”, she is mourned and survived by her brothers Patricio (Sarah), George (Carmen) and Raymundo Sr (Gloria) Carrillo and her sisters Alicia Cuevas (Eleazar), San Juana Villarreal (Sabas) and Yolanda Quiñonez (Andres).

Her home displayed many, many pictures of her family and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and cared for as her own and who will cherish her memory forever.

Pallbearers include John Lane, David Carrillo, Rick Carrillo, Ray Carrillo Jr., Oscar Carrillo, Robby Pacheco, Jason Villarreal and Anthony Joel Torres.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Pearsall from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 10 am and held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
