In Loving Memory of Cristobal Hernandez Jr.
January 24, 1960 – November 1, 2026
With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Cristobal Hernandez Jr., who passed away on November 1, 2026, at the age of 66.
Born on January 24, 1960, in Dilley, Texas, Cristobal lived a life filled with meaningful friendships, family connections, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Cristobal had a true passion for working on cars. Whether he was rebuilding, restoring, or painting them, he loved bringing vehicles back to life. He had a talent for working with his hands and took great pride in his work. His love for cars was more than a hobby; it was a part of who he was.
Beyond his passion for cars, Cristobal loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed being surrounded by the people he cared about, sharing stories, laughter, and moments that would become treasured memories. He was deeply loved by many, and those fortunate enough to know him will forever carry a piece of his memory in their hearts.
Cristobal shared a special bond with his brothers and sisters. Together, they created a lifetime of beautiful memories filled with laughter, love, and experiences that will continue to be cherished for generations.
Cristobal was preceded in death by his parents, Cristobal Hernandez Sr. and Refugia Hernandez; and his siblings, Leonor Anes and Norma Del Real.
He is survived by his only daughter, Tessa Gutierrez; his beloved grandchildren; his siblings, Jose Luis Hernandez, Humberto Hernandez, Cynthia Garcia, and Janie Gutierrez; along with many extended family members and cherished friends.
Although his journey on earth has come to an end, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on through everyone whose life he touched. He will be remembered through the stories told, the laughter shared, the cars he lovingly restored, and the countless beautiful moments spent with those he loved. Every car he restored was given another chance to shine, and every memory he leaves behind will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him. Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
