Cruz B. Pruitt

Cruz Teresa Pruitt, 81 of Pearsall, entered rest on February 4, 2019 at her home. She was born on December 19, 1937 in Pearsall to Patricio Bernal and Cruz Rodriguez Bernal. She is preceded in death by her son, Alfredo "Chico" Pruitt, parents, Brother, Rolando Bernal; grandchildren, Bianca Pruitt, Anthony Maldonado and Christopher Gonzales.

She is survived by her husband, Alfredo Pruitt; children, Leticia Rios and Blackie Elizondo, Dalia Hinojosa and Baldemar, Yolanda Perez and Eduardo, Thelma Pruitt, David Pruitt and Jose Araujo, Veronica King and Maury and Rebecca De Leon and Albert Sr.; brothers and sisters, Elida Carrizales, Esaura Sanchez, Victor Bernal, Guadalupe Lezak, Patricio Bernal, Odelia Villarreal and Rosario Reyna. She is also survived by 5 generations of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include, Simon Sambrano, Noe B. Gonzales, Alfredo "Chico" Pruitt III, Reynaldo Rios Jr., Craig "Peanut" Mendoza, Adam Gonzales, Zachary Saldana, Joshua Maldonado and Max Mendoza.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 5pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Services will conclude at the church.
