Dalia Martinez Stroot

Dalia Martinez Stroot, 53 of Dilley, entered rest on October 12, 2020. She was born on December 3, 1966 in Dilley to Idelfonso L. Martinez and Guadalupe San Miguel Martinez. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Elida SM Martinez and Delgadina "Dina " Ciprian.

She is survived by her husband, John Stroot; children, Melinda Guadalupe Correa, Samantha Lee Cantu Yussif, Ashley Shaul and Nick Stroot all of Crookston, MN. Sister: Delia SM Martinez of Dilley. She is also survived by Debra Lee Flores and R.J. Ortiz whom she loved as a daughter and son  and her niece Mireñia Lettie Ortiz whom she loved very much, 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Joseph Daniel Correa, Timothy James Correa, Thomas Anthony Rocha Jr., RJ Ortiz, JC Ciprian, Nick Stroot, Raul "Yuye" Ortiz, David Lee Sanchez and Peter John Rusling.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels-Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 we are asking everyone to continue to follow CDC guidelines as well as local mandates. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
