Daniel Q. Martinez

Daniel Quiroz Martinez, 62 of Derby, entered rest on January 4, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 17, 1958 in Hayward, California, to Miguel Martinez and Louisa Quiroz Valenzuela. He is preceded in death by his son, John Daniel Martinez; father, Miguel Martinez and siblings, Yolanda Montenegro and Richard Martinez.

He is survived by his wife, Jovita "Dodie" Martinez; children, Michael Anthony Martinez (Mara), Danielle Rivas (Richard), Veronica Martinez, Sarah Martinez and Alyssa Martinez; grandchildren, Maritza, Jayden, Juliana, Jaxon, Joslynn, Christabella, and Amaya; mother; Louisa Quiroz Valenzuela; siblings,  Michael Martinez, Angie Sauceda and Carmen Benavides.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel starting at 9am. A rosary will be recited at 11:30am. Funeral mass will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1pm. Services will conclude at the church.
