Elva F. Mendez

Elva F. Mendez, 63 of Pearsall, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2021. She was born on October 18, 1957 in Pearsall to Santiago Frausto and Carmen Vinton-Frausto. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Raymond Angel Elizondo; sisters, Sylvia Martinez and San Juana Moreno; brothers, Juan Frausto, Santiago Frausto and Pete Frausto; grandmother, Paula Vinton; niece, Cruz Treviño; nephews, Alex Frausto Jr., Jimmy Frausto and Raul Frausto Jr. Brother In Law:  Emeterio Silguero; mother-in-law, Irene Mendez and great great nephew, Isaiah Cruz Martinez.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Mendez Jr.; children, Jesse Frausto and wife Marisa, Lori Mendez Elizondo and husband John Paul and Greg Mendez III. Father In Law:  Goyo Mendez Sr.; grandchildren, Cassie Galvan, Joshua Grout, JP Elizondo, Zeke Elizondo, Deseray Elizondo, A.J. Frausto, Tori Frausto, Jayden Frausto and David Frausto; great grandson, Xayvion Ace Trevino. Siblings:  Margarita Bustamante, Teresa Trevino, Raul Frausto Sr. and wife Guadalupe, Alex Frausto Sr. and wife Mary, Betsy Silguero, Rosa Rodriguez and husband Ernesto, Connie Rodriguez and husband Manuel, Belen Banda and husband Antonio, Roger Frausto and wife Vicki and Evon Frausto. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Betin Martinez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Steven Frausto, Ricky Garcia, Tony Banda, Bobby Trevino, Gus Jimenez, Roger Rodriguez, Boy Martinez and Ernie Rodriguez Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Pearsall Cemetery.
