Ernesto L. Ortegon

Ernesto L. Ortegon, 70 of Pearsall, entered rest on  November 13, 2016 in San Antonio. He was born on February 16, 1946 in Jourdanton to Yndalecio Ortegon and Olivia Longoria Ortegon. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jesse Ortegon and sister, Emma Pargas.

He is survived by his children, Ernesto Ortegon Jr. of Michigan and Mary Jane Ortegon of San Antonio. Brothers and sisters:  Enrique Ortegon and wife Estella of San Antonio, Yndalecio Ortegon Jr. and wife Terry of San Antonio, Ermenia Martinez of Pearsall, Elida Navarro and husband Cecillio of Mission, Richard Ortegon and wife Maria of Houston, Porfirio Ortegon and wife Sherley of Indiana, Rodolfo Ortegon and wife Magda of Pearsall, Santiago Ortegon and wife Carmen of Hondo, Alfredo Ortegon and wife Brenda of Kerrville, Gloria Luna of Pearsall, Victor Ortegon and wife Rosa of San Antonio and Modesta Horn and husband Jene of Nebraska. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-9pm with a service held at 7pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
