Felicita D. Carranza

Felicita D. Carranza, affectionately known as Ofelia, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, coinciding with her 77th birthday. Born on April 27, 1949, in Piedras Negras, Mexico, Felicita's life was marked by devotion to her family and community.

A cherished mother and grandmother, Felicita’s legacy lives on through her surviving sons, Peter Briseño and Reynaldo Briseño. She was also a beloved grandmother to Robert J. Briseño and Ashley Alvarado Brimhall, and a proud great-grandmother to Josh and Hank Brimhall. Felicita was predeceased by her mother, Eloisa De La Garzaq, as well as her sons, Ruben Briseño and Bobby Briseño, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Felicita’s final services will take place at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel and Crematory, located at 203 E. Frio, Pearsall, TX. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 10:45 a.m. on May 1, 2026. This will be followed by a Rosary service at 11:00 a.m., concluding at 11:30 a.m. The burial will be held thereafter at Pearsall Catholic Cemetery Westside on Radio Road, Pearsall, TX, commencing at 12:00 p.m.

Throughout her life, Felicita was a pillar of strength and love, her spirit touching all who knew her. As family and friends gather to honor her memory, they will remember a woman whose warmth and care shaped their lives in countless meaningful ways. Her departure leaves a profound void, yet her legacy endures in the hearts of those she so deeply loved.
