Felipe Ariza Jr.

Felipe Ariza Jr. 25, a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2024, in San Antonio. Born on March 7, 1999, in Pearsall to Irene Quezada and Felipe Ariza Sr. he was the youngest and only boy among his siblings—a cherished role that shaped his vibrant spirit.

Felipe was known for his fun-loving nature and carefree soul. He had an infectious energy that lit up every room he entered; whether it was at family gatherings or community events, he always brought joy to those around him. His love for dancing reflected his zest for life—he could often be found moving to the rhythm of music with a smile that warmed hearts.

As a devoted father to Leah Rose Ariza and Issabel Grace Ariza, Felipe poured all of himself into raising his daughters alongside their mother Jestiny Hernandez. His children were the center of his world; they will forever carry forward the legacy of laughter and love he instilled in them.

Felipe is survived by not only his daughters but also by a close-knit family who adored him deeply: his father; Felipe Ariza Sr. (Veronica), mother, Irene Quezada, girlfriend, Jestiny Hernandez, sister Mercedes Rodriguez (James); half-sisters, Stephanie Del Toro (Mark), Kimberly Rodriguez (Ernie), Amanda Chavera, Brittany Vela (John), Blanca Lila Ariza, Ruby Selia Ariza, Idalia Edelmira Ariza, Caren Paula Ariza, Teresa Liset Ariza; grandparents Jose Ariza Rodriguez and Oliva Quezada; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who looked up to their fun uncle with admiration.

The loss of Felipe leaves an irreplaceable void within both his family circle and the wider community where he made countless friends through shared moments filled with laughter. He will be remembered not just for how much joy he brought into others' lives but also for how profoundly loved he was in return.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel-Pearsall from 5pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 114 E. Frio St. Dilley, TX 78017 at 1:30pm. Interment will follow back to the Frio County Cemetery in Pearsall.

Though Felipe may no longer walk among us physically, the memories we hold dear ensure that his spirit continues to dance through our hearts forevermore.
