Felipe Lopez

Felipe Lopez, 71, entered rest on January 29, 2024 in Pearsall, Tx. He was born on May 26, 1952 in Pearsall to Corcina Bernal Lopez and Daniel Lopez. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Daniel Lopez and son in law Rojelio Torres.

In fond memory of Felipe Lopez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Recognized by endearing nicknames such as El Primo, Peanut Man, and Macole, Felipe's vibrant spirit illuminated every room. His Holy water spray bottle became a symbol of blessings, ensuring that everyone who visited left with a touch of his grace.

A devout churchgoer, Felipe's dedication shone through as he eagerly attended church three times every Sunday. His entrepreneurial spirit was equally remarkable, effortlessly selling everything from raspas and turkey legs to the finest peanuts in the state of Texas, even reselling empty peanut bags.

Felipe's laughter, his jokes, and his unwavering kindness will forever resonate in our hearts. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Lara Lopez; children, Diana L. Torres and Analiza Garcia (Joe Dominick Garcia); grandchildren, Juan Rojelio Torres (Jovanna), Orlando O. Torres, Thaliethia R. Torres, Phillip Torres, Elijah Gallegos, Ariana Rodriguez, Sophia Garcia and Baby T. on the way; siblings, Roberto Lopez (Melida) and Diana L. Mata(Mario); sister in law Ernestina Lopez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Juan R. Torres, Orlando O. Torres, Phillip Z. Torres, Joe D. Garcia, Robert Lopez, Juan Torres, Danny Lopez and Adon Villarreal Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow to the Pearsall Cemetery.
