Fernando L. Cantu

Fernando L. Cantu, 72 of Dilley, entered rest on March 26, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on December 28, 1951, in Dilley, Texas to Florencio Cantu and Enriquetta Lozano Cantu. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Elizar Cantu.

He is survived by his children, Veronica "Ronnie" Culberson (Michael) of San Antonio, Joseph Cantu (Nelly) of Edinburg, Moses Cantu (Elia) of San Antonio, Roseann Rodriguez of Dallas and Claudia Cantu of Dilley; siblings, Oscar Cantu (Linda), Omega Cantu, Rosalinda Cantu, Lilian Cantu, Ercilia Segovia (Noel), David Cantu (Maria), Gilbert Cantu (Mari). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Julian Cantu, Gume Prado, Yoyo Segovia, Noel Cantu Jr., Dahlia Cantu, Manuel "Bird" Rodriguez Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Belen Baptist Church from 9am-11:30am. Funeral service will start at 11:45am. Services will conclude at the church.
