Francisco Y. Ramirez

Francisco Y. Ramirez, 85 of Pearsall, passed away on October 7, 2013 in San Antonio. He was born on August 21, 1928 to Gregorio Ramirez and San Juanita Yanez. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elida Ramirez, parents; Gregorio and San Juana Ramirez, brothers; Ysabel and Pedro Ramirez.

He is survived by his children; Juan Noe Ramirez and wife Juana Rosa, Frank Ramirez Jr. and wife Estella, Gregorio Ramirez and wife Maria, Ina Chavera and husband Oscar, Ida Marquez and husband Chris, Gracie Hernandez and husband Johnny, Desi Ramirez and wife Elvia, Jerry Ramirez and wife Tracy and Hugo Ramirez and wife Alicia. Brothers and sisters: Lioneres Ramirez, Guadalupe Ramirez, Lucy Herrada, Tomasa Ramos, San Juanita Torres and Angelita Hernandez. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 2pm-9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm. Funeral mass was held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 10am. Interment followed at the Frio County Cemetery.
