Gabino S. Martinez

Gabino S. Martinez, 84 of Pearsall, entered rest on March 15, 2014. He was born on February 19, 1930 in Taylor, Texas to Manuel Martinez and Metilda Sanchez Martinez. He is preceded in death by his loving wife; Ester Marie Martinez, parents; Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Martinez and numerous brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his children; Johnny Martinez, Stella Martinez, Billy Martinez, Eloise Saenz, Charlie Martinez and wife Bonnie, Gloria Berrelez and husband Manuel, Manuel Martinez and wife Donna, Teresa Gonzalez and husband Juan, Melinda Jenkins and husband Mark, Gabby Martinez and wife Frances, Chris Martinez and wife Nora and Tommy Martinez and wife Linda. He is also survived by his sister; Aurora Menchaca, 28 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10:30am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
