George Munoz

George M. Munoz Sr. 83, originally of Pearsall, entered rest on August  17, 2021 in San Antonio. He was born on September 7, 1937 in Pearsall, Texas to Arturo C. Munoz and Alejandra Morin Munoz. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sonja Munoz; parents and siblings, Lupe Munoz, Arturo Munoz, Enrique Munoz, Manuel Munoz, Victor Munoz, Hortencia Valle, Esperanza Guerra, Angelita Trevino and Mary Reyes.

He is survived by his son, George Munoz Jr. of Corpus Christi; Step-daughter Rose Shipman. Brother; Alfred Munoz of Laredo. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Ashley Cedar bloom, Zarek Munoz, Step-grandson, Roy Shipman and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday August 23, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 9am-12pm with a rosary recited at 11am. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1pm. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
