George Ramirez, 58, of Pearsall, Texas embarked on his eternal journey on January 17, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on November 21, 1966, in Pearsall, Texas to Matias P. Ramirez and Estella Garcia Ramirez, he was a shining light to all who knew him. He was a devoted brother and father, and a loyal friend to everyone. He consistently sought harmony among all. As humorous as can be, always playing jokes here and there.
George was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Christian Andrew Gutierrez, and siblings Connie Ramirez, Esther Chapa, Cecilia Ramirez, and Alex Ramirez.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by his wife, Rhonda. George was a proud father to his daughters, Joselynn Rose Ramirez (Miguel), Irma Ramirez (Oscar), Krystal Vasquez (Xavier), Connie Ramirez, Vivian Cruz (Johnny), Lilia Ramirez, and sons, George Ramirez Jr., John Sebastian Ramirez and Marc Anthony Ramirez. Stepson-Joshua Senovio Cuevas. He had equal love and affection for each child. Brothers and sisters, Patsy Jewell (Joe), Matias Ramirez Jr. (Marivel), Mary Vega (Robert), Jesse Ramirez, Eva Cantu (Herby), Josie Velasquez (Pat), Priscilla Villarreal (Don), Emma Vargas, Delia Sambrano (Jesse) and Diana Salinas (Conrad). His memory will live on through 16 grandchildren. George was adored by numerous nieces and nephews who admired him as an uncle.
He referred to himself as the super trucker, he loved his job and indeed he was. His legacy will forever be alive in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels starting at 9am. A rosary will be recited at 11am. Funeral mass will be held at 1pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow to the Chilipitin Cemetery in Charlotte.
