Geronimo Garcia Torres 71, of Dilley, Texas entered rest on Friday, March 18, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 28, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to Aciano Torres and Maria Garcia Torres. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Aciano Torres Sr., Andres G. Torres, Eulalio G. Torres, Aciano G. Torres Jr. and Maria G. Torres.

He is survived by his wife, Petra Gonzales Torres; children, Sorina Gonzales Torres, Velma Gonzales Torres, Thelma Torres, Geronimo Torres Jr., Camelia Torres Martinez (Ruben), Emilio Torres (Lori) and Yvonne Torres; siblings, Jose G. Torres (Lucia), Gonzalo G. Torres (Donna), Anna M. Salazar (Carlos), Lucy T. Martinez (Samuel), Pedro G. Torres (Melinda), Manuela T. Zapata, Janie T. Charles, Lupe Torres, Aciano Torres Jr. (Angie) and Jesus Torres. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren also numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers; Emilio Torres Sr., Emilio Torres Jr., Juan J. Garcia, Fernando Sambrano Jr., Ruben Martinez, Armando Martinez, Anthony Rodriguez, Adan Garcia and Honorary Pallbearer Emiliano Aciano Torres.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels-Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Millet Cemetery.
