Gloria C. Benavidez

Gloria C. Benavidez, 72 of Von Ormy, entered rest on December 14, 2019 in San Antonio. She was born on October 15, 1947 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Ramon R. Cruz and Viviana Lara Cruz. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon G. Benavidez; son, Raymond Benavidez Jr; siblings, Alfred Cruz, Ramon Cruz and Nancy Caballero.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Benavidez of Von Ormy, Bobby Benavidez of Pearsall, Belinda Moreno (Christopher) of Pearsall and Melissa Benavidez of San Marcos. Siblings, Maria Ruiz, Frances Cruz and Ray Cruz. She is also survived by 14, grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Armando Rangel, Jerry Gomez, John Sotello, Chirstopher Moreno, Christopher Jones and Bobby Benavidez.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21 , 2019 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel-Dilley starting at 8am to 11am. A prayer service will be held at 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
