Gloria D. Zapata

Gloria D. Zapata, aged 80, of Pearsall, entered into rest on May 15, 2025. She was born to Alberto De La Cruz and Ignacia Viesca De La Cruz. Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Domingo Zapata, her parents, her children Gloria Jean Zapata, Belen Zapata Perez, and Emiliano Zapata, her brother Ruben Martinez, and her son-in-law Noel Cantu.

She is survived by her children: Domingo Zapata III and his wife Rosalinda, Raul Zapata and his wife Irene, Dahlia Arriazola and her husband Juan Jr., Cynthia Linda Zapata, Sandra Cantu, Charlene Cano and her husband Danny, Darlene Zapata, Cassandra Zapata, and Raymundo Perez Jr. Gloria is also survived by her siblings Ramona Hernandez, Rosa Rodriguez, and Irene Garcia, as well as 4 generations of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 5pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10:30am. Interment will follow to the Dilley Cemetery.
