Gonzalo G. Torres

Gonzalo G. Torres, aged 72, of Dilley, passed away on November 1, 2024. He was born on January 10, 1952, to Maria Garcia Torres and Aciano Torres. He is preceded in death by his son, Nicky Torres, parents; siblings, Aciano Torres Sr., Andres G. Torres, Eulalio G. Torres, Aciano G. Torres Jr., Maria G. Torres and Geronimo G. Torres.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Torres; children, Denise Boyd, Reynaldo Soto, Maria Martinez, Emma Lee Soto, Danny Soto and Magdalena Monrreal; siblings, Jose G. Torres, Anna M. Salazar (Carlos), Lucy T. Martinez (Samuel), Pedro G. Torres (Melinda), Manuela T. Zapata, Janie T. Charles, Lupe Torres, Aciano Torres Jr. (Angie) and Jesus Torres. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren 1 great-grand child, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gonzalo was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church starting at 9am. A funeral mass will follow at 10am. Gravesite service with military honors will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
