Guadalupe Eguia Jr.,73 of Dilley entered rest on August 9, 2015 in Uvalde. He was born on May 10, 1942 in Dilley to Guadalupe Eguia Sr. and Teresa Herrera Eguia. He is preceded in death by his parents,step-father, George Perez, brother, Hector Eguia and sister, Raquel Eguia Mata.

He is survived by his son, Scott Ortiz Eguia of Dilley and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial mass will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dilley, 11:15am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
