Guadalupe "Pito" Morales

Guadalupe "Pito" Morales Sr., 70 of Pearsall, entered rest on February 9, 2014. He was born on February 4, 1944 in Pearsall to Sotero Morales and Victoria Hinojosa Morales. He is preceded in death by his parents,Mr. and Mrs. Sotero Morales, mother of children; Martha Morales, brother; Jose Morales and grandson, Michael Ray Maldonado.

He is survived by his children; Sotero Ariel Morales Sr., Guadalupe H. Morales Jr., Samuel Morales Sr., Maria Yomeida Morales, Maria Elena Morales, Katherine Esparza, Diana Morales and Sandy Morales. Brothers and sisters: Juan Morales, Paulo Morales Sr., Beatrice Benavidez and Maria Morales. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included Jason Maldonado, Louis Varrizales Jr., Sotero Morales Jr., Markus Morales, Jacob Morales, Mathew Martinez, Samuel Morales Jr., Gilbert Salazar Jr., Bryan Salazar, Esteban Esparza, Antonio Esparza Jr., and Leonardo Esparza.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
