Ignacio Maldonado Jr., 71 of Dilley, entered rest on April 11, 2016. He was born on October 22, 1944 in Encinal to Ignacio Maldonado Sr. and Dolores N. Maldonado. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Lionel Maldonado and Homero Maldonado.

He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Maldonado of Dilley, children; Maria Ignacia Maldonado and Jr Martinez of Giddings, Melinda Maldonado-Marty of Dilley, Carlos Edwardo Maldonado and wife Kriszelda of Dilley and Alejandriana Ramon and husband Robert of Dilley. Brothers and sister: Savas Maldonado, Niyo Maldonado, Silvestre Maldonado, Ofelia Rosales and Juan "Pino" Maldonado. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2pm-9pm with a service at 7pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel- Dilley, 11am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
