Inez G. "Blackie" Eguia Jr., 67 of Dilley, entered rest on October 4, 2015. He was born on May 11, 1948 in Dilley to Robert Inez Eguia and Marianna Garcia Eguia. He is preceded in death by his son, Ricardo Eguia, parents and brother Johnny R. Eguia.

He is survived by his wife Maggie Eguia of Dilley, son, Danny Eguia and wife Drucy of San Antonio. Sisters: Herminia Arriazola and husband Matilde, Esmeralda Eguia and Hilda Crawford, brother, Gilbert Eguia and wife Mage. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jacob Eguia, Joshua Eguia and Esteban Eguia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 11:15am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
