Irene Gutierrez Mendez

Irene G. Mendez, 70 of Pearsall, passed away on August 1, 2013 in San Antonio. She was born on October 29, 1941 in Pearsall to Gregorio Gutierrez and Evangelina Reyna Gutierrez. She is survived by her husband Gregorio G. Mendez Sr., children; Greg Mendez Jr. and wife Elva, Jesse Mendez and wife Norma and Michael Mendez. Sisters: Evila Frausto, Ernestina Del Toro, Cilda Ramirez and Paula Perez. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Evangelina Gutierrez and daughter Norma Mendez.

Visitation was held at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Monday August 5, 2013 from 3pm-7pm. Services were held from 7pm-9pm.
Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, 10am.
Interment followed at the Frio County Cemetery.
