Jake G. Vinton

Jake G. Vinton, 55, of Pearsall, passed away on November 14, 2013 in San Antonio. He was born on August 13, 1958 to Crescencio Vinton and Gloria Gibson Vinton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mr. Crescencio Vinton, brother; Crescencio Vinton III, nephew; Jason Leal and niece; Tammy Taylor.

He is survived by his daughter; Kristy Aranda and Rudy Aguirre, step-daughters; Hope Hernandez and Sonia Segovia. Brothers and sisters: Teresa Martinez, Yolanda Garcia, Mary Lou Garcia, Diana Elizondo, Santos Rodriguez, Jesus Vinton, Jeanette Alaniz, Timotea Del Toro, Patricia Leal, Maria Nelda Gandara, Joe Vinton, Jimmy Vinton, Josie Gonzales, Elvira Valenzuela and Jennifer Vinton. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Bernice, John, Betsy, Belen and Richard as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 2:30-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass was held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment followed at the Pearsall Catholic Cemetery East Side.
