Jason A. Maldonado

Jason Anthony Maldonado, 35 of Pearsall, entered rest on January 31, 2020. He was born on December 3, 1984 in Pearsall, to Yvonne Maldonado Medina. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, the late Rodolfo Maldonado, grandmother the late Martha E. Morales, and brother, Michael Maldonado.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Benavides; children, Jayceanne Alaine Maldonado, Janieya Ari Maldonado; step-son, Rene Adame III. Mother,  Yvonne Medina (Guillermo); siblings, Zoe Medina (Brandon Robinson), Benjamin Guillermo Medina, Sotero Morales Jr. (Marcy), Samantha Morales (Jesse), Chelsea Morales, and Marcos Morales. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Irma Maldonado and Grace Medina as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers, Benjamin Medina, Sotero Morales Jr., Sammy Morales Jr., Abel Ramirez Jr., Mathew Martinez, Eddie Leal Jr., David Castaneda and Mario Camacho Jr. Honorary pallbearer, Rene Adame III.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church from 5pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
