John S. Castillo Jr., 41 of San Antonio, entered rest on September 14, 2017 in Wisconsin. He was born on June 7, 1976 in Pearsall to John S. Castillo Sr. and Margarita Hoopingarner. He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his children, Janelle Turmel of Austin and Anthony Castillo of Green Bay, WI; mother, Margarita Hoopingarner of Green Valley, AZ; siblings, Anabel Benavides of Green Bay, WI, San Juanita Saldana and husband Able of Green Bay, WI and Adrian Castillo of San Antonio. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels-Dilley, from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
