John S. Castillo Sr.

John S. Castillo Sr., 65 of San Antonio, originally of Dilley, entered rest on March 5, 2017. He was born on March 27, 1951 in Dilley to Frank Castillo and Ester Solis Castillo. He is preceded in death by parents.

He is survived by his children; Anabel Benavidez, San Juanita Saldana and husband Able, John Castillo Jr., Adrian Castillo and wife Ana, Brothers and sisters: Frank Castillo II, Yolanda Trevino, Nelda Gandra, Simon Castillo, Bobby Castillo, George Castillo, Maria Louisa Davila. Grandchildren: Juan Pablo Ponce, Yessica Ponce, Diego Cervantes, Antonio Cervantes, Yoselyn Cervantes, Alexis Saldana, Isabella Saldana, Peyten Saldana, Janelle Castillo, Anthony Castillo, Ariana Castillo, Carlos Castillo, and Angle Castillo. He is also survived by numerous, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel-Dilley from 2pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at St Joseph's Catholic Church,10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
