John Henry Franklin

John Henry Franklin, 53 of Dilley, entered into rest on July 4, 2022, in Pearsall. He was born on March 22, 1969 in Dilley, Texas to Tomas Franklin and Maria Gonzales Franklin. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Gonzales Franklin; stepdad Cecilio "Chilo" Garcia; brother, James Thomas Franklin; sister in law, Mayde Franklin.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years Martha Franklin; sons James Anthony, John Thomas and Jerry Martin; grandchildren, Anthony and Aubrey Franklin; father, Thomas C. Franklin; stepmother, Wanda Franklin; siblings, David Franklin (Tammy), Lana Bermea (Roy), Joseph Franklin (Bonnie), Jerry Franklin (Tammy); stepsister, Kelsey Hewitt, Melanie Kagarice; stepbrother, Thomas Franklin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers: Joe Obregon Jr., Johnny Salazar, Roy Bermera, Sammy Gonzales, Fernan Fonseca, Rene Alvales, Ron Montgomery, Ronald Montgomery Jr..

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2022, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 14, 2022, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
