Johnny J. Rios

Johnny J. Rios, 68 of Dilley passed away on December 18th, 2012. He was born on March 4th, 1944 in Dilley to Santiago Rios and Estefana Hernandez Rios. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sylvia “Purple” Rios and brother, Jimmy “Elbo” Rios.

He is survived by his wife, Ofilia Gonzales Rios of Dilley, children; Rommy Rios and wife Deanna, Shandi Rios, Susie Rios and Shelly Rios all of Dilley. Siblings: Sam Rios and wife Irene of O’Donnell, Texas, Ercila Moreno and husband Jesus, Blanca Ruiz and husband Armando both of Dilley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary was held on Friday December 21st, 2012 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley, 7pm. Funeral was held on Saturday December 22nd, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 9am. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.
