Johnny Ray Torres

Johnny Ray Torres, 32 of San Antonio, originally of Dilley passed away on August 24, 2013. He was born on January 5, 1981 in Dilley to Pedro G. Torres and Juanita Benavidez. He is preceded in death by his mother; Juanita Benavidez, sisters; Bonita and Margarita Torres, grandparents; Anciano and Maria Torres and Soila Benavidez, step-dad; Ramiro Ochoa.

He is survived by his sons; Joshua Torres and Joseph Torres, father; Pedro Torres, Girlfriend; Christy Rosales, brothers and sisters; Rene Ruel Jr., Julio Sambrano, Priscilla Torres Kelley, Kimberly Ruel Garcia, Crystal Torres, Monica Torres and Peter Torres, stepfather; Rene Ruel. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included Jameson Martinez, Rene Ruel, Daniel Villela, Jose Vergara, Christopher Ramirez, Leve Lopez, Jacob Lopez and Martin Rosales. Honorary Pallbearers are Joshua Torres, Joseph Torres, Issac Ramirez, Peter Torres and Jorge Garcia.

Rosary was held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 7pm at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley. Funeral mass was held on Thursday, August 29, 2013, 10am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.
