Jose "Peanut" Arredondo, 45 of Pearsall, entered rest on April 18, 2021 in San Antonio. He was born on June 18, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois to Alfredo Arredondo and Inez Marquez Arredondo. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Rebecca Arredondo and niece Graciela Martinez Longoria.

He is survived by his wife, Emilia Guzman; step children, Joseph Anthony Guzman, Tristen Jonas Hernandez and Joylssa Alexandria Hernandez; siblings, Maria Candelaria Martinez, Alfredo Arredondo Jr., Rosalva A. Cuchillo (Victor), Alicia Arredondo and Priscilla Brito Arredondo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Services will conclude at the church.
