Jose (Carlos) Cortez, 73 of Pearsall, entered rest on November 3, 2021. He was born in Monterrey, Mexico on July 19, 1948 to Velia Martinez Vega. He is preceded in death by his wife, Esperanza Cortez, mother and son John Paul Cortez.
He is survived by his children, Carlos Cortez (Norma), Marisol Cortez, Cindy Cortez, and Alexandria Fischer (David Martinez). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 5pm-9pm. Services will conclude at the chapel.
