Jose C. Fonseca

Jose C. Fonseca, 80 of San Antonio, originally of Dilley, entered rest on April 21, 2019 at his home. He was born on July 28, 1938 in Divot to Adan Fonseca and Seferina Collazo Fonseca. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Moises, David, Florencio, Saul, Samuel, Eva, Inosencia, Elida, Sara, Isaias and Juana.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, he is survived by his wife, Ofelia M. Fonseca of San Antonio; children, Joseph Adam Fonseca and wife Blanca (Garcia) of San Antonio and Rosemary F. Segura and husband Robert of San Antonio; brother, Abraham Fonseca of Dilley. Those who loved him knew that he had countless "favorites;" among them are Sylvia Medina, Nathan Medina and his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Belen Baptist Church from 5pm-9pm with a prayer service held at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Belen Baptist Church, 10am with military honors. Services will conclude at the church.
