Jose G. Zepeda, 81 of Dilley, entered rest on February 29, 2016. He was born on October 17, 1934 in Hildalgo, Texas to Alfonso and Cleotilde Zepeda. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughters; Gloria Gonzales and Olga Contreras and brothers; Alfonso Zepeda Jr., Hector Zepeda and Lionel Zepeda.

He is survived by his wife, Leandra Acosta Zepeda of Dilley, children; Joe Zepeda and wife Irma of Clint, Texas, Noel Zepeda and Clarissa Gutierrez of Dilley and Arnold Zepeda and wife Veronica of Dilley. Sisters and brothers: Ofelia Gonzales and husband Eddie of Fresno CA, Jesusa Gallegos of Pharr, Celia Gonzales of Lubbock, Juanita Acosta and husband Joe of Dilley, Goyita Salinas and husband Frank Sr. of Fresno, CA, Maria Elena Torres and husband Daniel of Lubbock, Juan Jose Zepeda and Alfredo Zepeda and wife Belen. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels-Dilley from 3pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 11am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
