Jose Jerman Molina, 33, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away on October 15th, 2012. He was born on May 31st, 1979 in Dilley. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Molina, daughters, Alandra, Zaira and Katelynn Molina. Mother: Victoria Molina Galan and husband Onesimo of Dilley, brothers and sisters; Nelda Molina Jasso and husband Jesse Jr. of Von Ormy, Mark Anthony Molina and wife Maria of Dallas, Abelardo “Lalito” Molina and Apolonia Maldonado of Cotulla, Iris Marie Castaneda of Carrizo Springs, Brian John Molina of Pearsall and Cleo Aguirre of Pearsall. He is also survived by his grandmother, Refugia Molina of Dilley and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Crecencio Molina and uncle, Juan Molina.
Joe made his decision to Christ at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dilley in 1998. He entered the Seminary School of Hispanic Theology in 2000. He then volunteered as a summer missionary at the New Hope Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he married his wife Maria on January 27th, 2001. Joe served as a missionary for the North American Mission Board in Washington State, in 2003. He then entered the United States Army in the year 2004. He was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served 2 tours in 2005 and 2007.
Pallbearers included, Alberto Gonzalez, Isaac Flores, Ronnie Rodriguez Jr., Bryan Joseph Boswell, Joseph John Molina and Nick Aaron Molina.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 19th, 2012 at the Trevino Royal Oaks Dilley Chapel, 7pm. Funeral was held on Saturday, October 20th, 2012 at the Belen Baptist Church in Dilley, 3pm. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.
