Jose G. Olivarez

Jose Gonzales Olivarez, 78 of Pearsall, entered rest on July 6, 2021 in Dilley. He was born on July 26, 1942 in Lagarto, Texas to Mauricio Olivarez and Candida Gonzales Olivarez. He is proceeded in death by his late wife of 56 years, Maria Graciela Olivarez; parents and siblings Juan Olivarez, Tomas Olivarez, Issac Olivarez and Santos Pineda.

He is survived by his wife; Juanita Castillo Olivarez of Dilley' children, Gerardo Olivarez, Cynthia Elizondo (Abel Sr.), Henna Raja (Azhar), Guadalupe Olivarez (Norma), Brenda Lee Olivarez (Cesar Carillo Sr.).  Siblings: Jesus "Chuy" Olivarez, Alfredo Olivarez, Lorenzo Olivarez, Maria Gonzales, Jesus Saldivar and Rosa Bernal, his nephew Robert Olivarez. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Joe Mark Flores, Joey Reyna, Joseph Olivarez, Erik Moreno, Aracely Olivarez, Brianne Calvo, Trey Elizondo and AJ Elizondo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 8, 2021 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 3pm-9pm with a  rosary  recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday July 9, 2021 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery.
