Jose Mario Rodriguez

Jose Mario Rodriguez, 16 of Pearsall, entered rest on April 30, 2023. He was born on September 12, 2006, in Seguin, TX to Luz Leal Rodriguez and Roseanna Esquivel Salazar. He is preceded in death by his grandma, Sally Salazar and his uncle Luis Salazar.

He is survived by his father, Luz Rodriguez and mother, Roseanna Salazar; siblings, Desirey Gomez, Britny Gomez, Luz L. Rodriguez Jr., Adrian Rodriguez and Joaquin Rodriguez; nieces, Arianna Gustamante, Amara Gustamante, Alyssa Gustamante; cousins, Isaac Ramos, Eliza Salazar, Louie Salazar and Jordan Salazar.

Jose was a sophomore at Pearsall High School. He was a free spirit who was always happy and had an infectious smile. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was intelligent, and he enjoyed running and playing baseball. When he grew up, he wanted to train and become an MMA Fighter, something he talked about often. He had big dreams and loved his Dallas Cowboys. Jose will be truly missed, and his memory will live on by all who got the chance to know him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels from 1-5pm. Services will conclude at the Funeral Home.
