Juan Ruben Cantu Sr., 50 of Dilley, entered rest on September 14, 2022, in San Antonio, Tx. He was born on February 22, 1972, in Pearsall, TX to Maria de la Luz Andrade and Ruben Cantu. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Angel Cantu and Baby O.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Cantu; children, Jennifer Rae Cantu (Pablo), Juan Ruben Cantu Jr. (Chelsea), Jaleesa Renee Cantu (R.J) and Julian Ryan Cantu (Jada); grandchildren, Jayden, Zaydran, Jaydran, Zayda, Jaydlynn, Jenna, Zendaya, Saul, Kingston, Jaeleana, Jaevryn and Baby Ortiz; sisters, Dina Guajardo, Ruby Hicks, Debbie Cantu, Mirri DuBose and Juanita Duran. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Ruben Gonzalez, Vicente Cantu, Arnold Ochoa, Mark Leal, Jesse Zavala, David Sambrano Jr., Mathew Martinez and Billy Medina.

Honorary Pallbearer: Jayden Barrera.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel-Dilley from 6pm-9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 10am. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery.
